Having witnessed the life-changing impact the North Surrey Domestic Abuse Service has on survivors and their children Linda was motivated to support the cause by working as a trustee.
In her spare time family and friends play an important role in Linda's life and she enjoys sharing her love of travelling, live music and the outdoors with her 2 children. She is frequently found trying to keep up with them whilst skiing or encouraging them to love, or at least tolerate, ‘old’ music.

TrusteeLesleigh began her career as a social worker in Kent, before progressing into a senior role that designed, commissioned and contracted social care and health services across several London boroughs and the whole of Kent. For the past 28 years she has worked in a few sectors including homelessness & housing, criminal justice, DVA, substance misuse and SEN & disability.
Her board portfolio spans both the voluntary and public sectors, where she has contributed significant expertise in charity governance, safeguarding assurance, finance and risk management.
As Chair of Cranstoun, a UK-wide social justice charity, she championed efforts to tackle inequality and deliver services that reshape lives and inspire positive futures for people that had experienced trauma, disadvantages and poverty.
As a resident of Elmbridge for the past 12 years, Lesleigh is actively involved in the local community. Serving as a trustee for several charities enables her to share her experience in a way that contributes meaningfully to organisations delivering positive, and lasting impact.
